The winners of the 2014 WCA Group Health Trust (GHT) scholarship program were announced in the Wisconsin Dells at WCA's 2014 Annual Conference in September.
Scholarship recipients were selected by an independent panel of current and former educators based on scores received in the following categories: future goals and career plans, grade point average, community involvement, the quality of their writing and a letter of recommendation.
The GHT scholarship is targeted toward students seeking careers in health service fields, who are full-time upper-class students. Additionally the applicant or the applicant's spouse, parent, grandparent or guardian must be an employee of a GHT member.
